New Lola B05/30 makes track debut.
British F3 front-runner Danny Watts was on track at Silverstone last Friday, giving Lola's new Formula 3 car, the B05/30 its first run.
Despite the fact the weather was less than helpful, with heavy rain all day, Watts managed 24 trouble free laps as Lola engineers focused on intital system checks.
Lola now plan to begin an intensive test programme ahead of the new British F3 championship season, which kicks off in April at Doningtion Park.

Although no teams have yet to confirm they will run with the B05/30, a Lola insider revealed to Crash.net that teams and drivers will be announced shortly.
Last year the Lola-Dome F106 challenged the category stranglehold enjoyed by Dallara since 1993, with the F106 taking eleven outright victories.
In the UK, Watts finally broke through in June's Castle Combe meeting, helping the Promatecme team to end eleven years of Dallara victories with a win that re-wrote the history books.
Lola will be hoping the new B05/30 can continue in a similar vain.
