Fabio Di Giannantonio says front feeling is the area for Ducati to improve in 2026.

Speaking on Thursday in Valencia, he explained that the 2025 Desmosedici gives "low" front feeling that makes it hard to force time out of the bike.

Finishing seventh in Practice today, the Italian also feels he has more time to find over one lap but is optimistic about his race pace.

Pecco Bagnaia had another tough start to a weekend today in Valencia, but not only is he not particularly optimistic about improving by Sunday, he doesn't even think he will be able to make a step on Tuesday in the test.

Alberto Puig spoke during Practice of the need to be wary of overzealous expectations for Honda's 2026 MotoGP bike in the Valencia test next Tuesday.

The Honda HRC boss also said that the Japanese factory thinks it has identified the cause of the clutch issues that affected Joan Mir and Somkiat Chantra in Portugal last week, and that Honda's "only target" in Valencia is to gain the nine points it needs to improve its concessions status for 2026.

Important lap from Aldeguer gets himself from 16th to eighth.

Big lap from Ogura, P3 on a 1:29.555. That's pushed Raul Fernandez out.

Bagnaia down to 13thnow as well and not improving.

Second lap of Bezzecchi's final time attack run was up on Acosta's time after three splits but lost a tenth in the final sector and stays second on a 1:29.293.

Bagnaia ninth with his latest lap, 1:29.847. Will need more than that, you'd think.

Well, despite the report from Aprilia Martin is going back out - not for a time attack, though.

Bagnaia time attacking with a hard front tyre but pits at the end of his first lap. Only P12 at the moment.

Martin is done, confirmed by Aprilia to the MotoGP world feed. He's 20th at the moment but has improved by over a second compared to his time this morning. 

Marquez now up to second on his second lap, Di Giannantonio goes third behind him. Aldeguer now out of the top-10.

Bezzecchi's first time attack only good enough for eight; Alex Marquez behind goes P7 only and 0.7s behind Acosta.

Morbidelli up to third now, but no one getting near Acosta yet.

Time attack from Espargaro puts him P5, 1:30.130, although Miller then puts him back a spot as he goes P2 on his first time attack, and into the 1:29s.

Now Acosta pulls the pin - 1:29.240 and top by almost 0.6s.

Ogura up to ninth with fresh softs. A lot of riders back in the pits now, preparing their late laps to try to get into those 10 Q2 spots.

Aldeguer up to fifth on the second lap of his soft-soft run.

23 minutes to go and time attacks are beginning. Di Giannantonio has already done one, but now Aldeguer and Mir are both out now on softs front and rear as well.
