Dryml 'critical but stable'.

Oxford Cheetahs Czech Republic star Ales Dryml is in a 'critical but stable' condition after sustaining severe head injuries during the Sky Sports Elite League 'A' event against Wolverhampton at Cowley last night.

Dryml sustained head injuries during heat seven when he fell at the final turn while leading. The following Ronnie Correy had no chance to take avoiding action. Correy was also forced to withdraw from the meeting after suffering from concussion.

Dryml is currently being monitored by specialists in the IC Unit at Hospital in Oxford where he has been joined by brother Lukas and father Ales Snr, who flew into Stanstead Airport this morning. Further tests on Ales Jnr will be carried out during the course of the day.

Oxford Speedway will release further information regarding Dryml's condition as it becomes known, possibly as soon as this (Thursday) afternoon.
