Northen RIders' Championship ends Sheffield season
Sheffield close their 2003 season tomorrow [Thursday] evening with the staging of the Northern Riders' Championship. A host of names from the Premier and Elite Leagues - and beyond - will compete for a Teng Tools sponsored first prize.
Raiders miss out on KoC to arch rivals.
The Rye House Raiders missed out on the Conference League Knockout Cup for the fourth successive season at the weekend. In the first leg at Hoddesdon on Saturday night, riding against arch-rivals Mildenhall, the Raiders won 46-43, only to go down 48-41 at Mildenhall Stadium on Sunday.
Richardson claims ELRC.
Lee Richardson won the 2003 Elite League Riders' Championship on his home Coventry track on Saturday night. And to complete a great night for the Brandon club, Richardson's Bees team-mate Andreas Jonsson finished in second place, with Scott Nicholls of Ipswich third.

Trelawny stage the final speedway meeting at the Clay Country Moto Parc this Tuesday evening when they meet Newport in a Premier League match (7.30pm). It is the final home meeting of the season and the last before the JAG Tigers have to vacate their unique track in the Cornish clay pits.

Arena stage double-header on Friday.
The Arena Hammers face Stoke in a Premier League match immediately followed by Elite League Peterborough in the British League Cup at Purfleet on Friday. Instead of the normal 15 heats of racing the Hammers supporters will be able to witness a total of 30 heats.
