It was a Kawasaki one-two early on in the session with Alex Lowes fastest from six-time world champion Jonathan Rea.

Tito Rabat was quickest of the rookies in 12th, one spot ahead of BMW rider Jonas Folger.

Loris Cresson was slowest of the 23 riders and outside of the 107% rule.
