Bulgarian team set for WTCC debut.

The Petrol GT Racing Team is to make its debut in the World Touring Car Championship in the latest round of the season at Oschersleben.

The team will become the first from Bulgaria to compete in an FIA sanctioned world championship event when it lines up on the grid in Germany, with George Tanev on driving duties.

Tanev, the current leader of the Bulgarian Touring Car Championship, will be at the wheel of a BMW 320si, with the car being one previously used for testing purposes by the works BMW Team Italy-Spain squad.
