Cox, who continues to support TT legend Michael Dunlop amongst others, helped Tim Reeves claim the 2017 British sidecar title while he narrowly missed out on the world title last year.
“It’s great to have gained the support of such a big name in motorsport as Carl Cox,” Molyneux said. “It provides our close-knit team with more opportunity to be competitive this season.”
“We’re in a strong position and we have hit the ground running with the new bike,” Payne added. “It would be silly to count us out and we’re looking forward to a great season.”
Cox has also thrown backing behind up-and-coming Dutch sidecar duo Kees Endeveld and Jeroen Remme who take on the world championship this year.
“We absolutely love sidecars and have witnessed some great action on the two most prestigious short circuit series and of course the epic TT course,” Cox said.
“So it’s going to be pretty cool having a presence in all three championships at once. Moly is an Isle of Man institution and our Dutch friends are preparing well for the WSC with a great looking outfit, so we can’t wait to see how they all get on.”
