Much of the credit for securing this lucrative deal must go to new Bandit's commercial manager, Andrew Renner who has spent many a-long hour in talks with the enthusiastic Elm Bank management at their owner-only caravan retreat where buyers of their luxury, yet affordable caravans get free membership to the near by Swan Leisure Centre.
Renner said last night "Elm Bank have been involved with selective meeting sponsorship in the past, and were sufficiently impressed to consider talks with us with a view to the full team deal. The talks were always positive and highly productive with the company always a pleasure to deal with. Their slogan is "think of a second home by the sea" and having seen the place I can highly recommend it."

Elm Bank Bandit's promoter, Peter Waite, was also full of enthusiasm for the new sponsorship, "It's an excellent new dawn for us at Berwick Speedway, and I could not wish to have better and more positive sponsors than Elm Bank who are genuinely interested in our sport and how they can best help out, and in return we intend to get the Elm Bank word spread throughout the country from Glasgow to the Isle of Wight.

The newly formed Elm Bank Berwick Bandits hit the track in less than a fortnight in the Carlos Villar Benefit meeting coming up on March 6th at Shilefield Park, Tweedmouth, Berwick upon Tweed at 6.45 pm promptly.
