Reading's impressive recent form came to an end when they went down to a 50-43 Premier League defeat at Newport on Sunday afternoon.

Hammers lose meeting and bonus at Eastbourne.
The A F Stocktaking Hammers lost out on the aggregate bonus point with this seven point defeat at Eastbourne in a meeting that was marred by two terrible crashes, which saw both Eastbourne reserves take hospital trips.
Tatum quits speedway.
Following the A F Stocktaking Hammers match at Eastbourne on Saturday evening their captain, Kelvin Tatum MBE, announced that he has been forced into retiring from the sport due to his ongoing hip problems.
